At The Grove Hospitality Group, the health, safety, and well-being of our employees is our top priority. This policy ensures that all workplace injuries are reported, documented, and handled promptly and properly in compliance with health & safety regulations.
Employees have an obligation to report any work-related injury immediately, no matter how minor, to ensure proper care and documentation.
Employee Responsibilities
All employees are expected to:
✅ Follow all health & safety protocols to minimize workplace injuries.
✅ Immediately report any workplace injury, no matter how small, to a supervisor or the front desk (if a supervisor is unavailable).
✅ Complete the Employee Injury Incident Report as soon as possible after the incident.
✅ Seek medical attention if necessary and obtain required medical forms.
✅ Cooperate with the return-to-work process if applicable.
Immediate Steps When an Employee is Injured
🛑 Step 1: Report the Injury Immediately
Notify a supervisor or the front desk as soon as the injury occurs.
The front desk will take the lead on reporting if a supervisor is not on-site.
📝 Step 2: Complete the Employee Injury Incident Report
The Employee Injury Incident Report must be filled out immediately after the incident. These are available at the front desk of each property (or designated work area)
A copy must be provided to:
Jennifer (Owner & GM) - jennifer@thegrove.rocks
Eli (for JOE. employees) - joe@thegrove.rocks
🏥 Step 3: If Medical Treatment is Required
The employee must be given:
Form 6 (Employee Report Form)
Form 8 (Doctor’s Report Form)
These forms must be completed and returned to Jennifer within 24 hours of treatment.
🔎 Step 4: Supervisor Follow-Up
The supervisor or front desk should check on the employee and document any updates.
The injury should be reviewed to see if additional safety measures are needed to prevent future incidents.
Access to Forms & Documentation

Additional Notes
⚠ Minor injuries still need to be reported! Even small burns, sprains, or slips should be documented in case symptoms worsen.⚠ Supervisors should ensure staff are aware of this policy and where to find necessary forms.⚠ If in doubt, report the injury and check with management. It’s always better to be safe than sorry.
